Algeria: The Greens have found their new manager.

In the midst of restructuring following the departure of Vladimir Petkovic, the FAF has reportedly reached an agreement with a former captain of the Greens to take on the role of manager.

The reconstruction of the Algerian national team could also affect the manager position. While the FAF continues its efforts to appoint a successor to Vladimir Petkovic, the name of Moussa Saïb is being mentioned insistently to join the new structure of the Greens.

According to the latest information, Walid Sadi has reportedly reached an agreement with the former captain of the national team. Saïb has shown support for the project and was expected to travel to Algeria soon to finalize his arrival. Currently on vacation with his family, he has, however, postponed his trip until his return.

This choice would align with the president of the FAF's desire to entrust strategic positions to former internationals who are well-acquainted with the environment of the national team. The experience, personality, and high-level knowledge of Moussa Saïb would thus represent assets in supporting the players and the future coach.

African champion in 1990, the former midfielder has 74 caps and seven goals with Algeria. His career took him from JSM Tiaret to JS Kabylie, before joining AJ Auxerre, Valencia, Tottenham, Al-Nassr, Monaco, Lorient, Dubai Club, and finally ending at JSK. He has also coached Noisy-le-Sec, JS Kabylie where he won the last Canaries championship in 2008, Al-Watani, and ASO Chlef.
