Burundi - Algeria D-3: Resumption with 24 players before the flight (photos)

The day after their victory against Zambia (3-1), on Friday night at the Hocine Aït Ahmed stadium in Tizi-Ouzou, the Greens resumed training on Saturday late afternoon.

This took place at the national technical center (CTN) in Sidi Moussa, in preparation for their next match against Burundi (2:00 PM), scheduled for this Tuesday in Bujumbura for the second day of the qualifiers for the 2027 AFCON.

This session was adapted based on the playing time of each player during the match against the Zambians. The players who started the match underwent recovery work in the gym to aid their recovery after the efforts made.

The rest of the group, for its part, participated in an intense training session, particularly focused on physical and technical-tactical work. It is worth noting that there were only 24 players after the exclusion of Rayan Aït Nouri and the confirmed injury of Amine Gouiri.

It should be noted that the national team will travel to Bujumbura this Sunday. The departure is scheduled for 10:00 AM on a special flight from the national airline Air Algérie.
