Jordan - Algeria (1-2): The ratings of the Greens!
After a match more difficult than expected, the National Team won (1-2) against Jordan and is back in the running for the 2026 World Cup.
Luca Zidane (6): After the Argentine debacle, Zidane was quite reassuring, performing well in his match. He was covered on the Jordanian goal even though his jump could have been better.
Rafik Belghali (5): A lot of ball losses and hesitations. He also took too long to provide offensive support where he was expected.
Aïssa Mandi (6): A match that was overall very correct. Jordan, despite the impression we may have had during the match, was not as dangerous as that, and Mandi played a part in it.
Ramy Bensebaïni (8): An incalculable number of devastating tackles and interventions that changed everything. A very strong match, worthy of a captain.
Rayan Aït-Nouri (7.5): He is currently having an excellent World Cup. Offensive, generous in effort, valuable both in attack and defense. Undisputed. Replaced by Jaouen Hadjam (85') who came on to secure the defense.
Ramiz Zerrouki (3): Zerrouki was having a fairly correct match until his gross error: a cross-field pass that ended up right in the middle on an opponent, leading to the Jordanian goal. After receiving a yellow card, he lost focus. Replaced by Nabil Bentaleb (46') (6.5) who, although he still lacks the stamina to multiply efforts, was interesting in building offensive play, where he is most expected.
Hicham Boudaoui (6): Not yet back to his best level, but already much better than against Argentina, Boudaoui ran a lot and was not uninteresting. Replaced by Nadhir Benbouali (46') (8) who, with a powerful header, revitalized his team and allowed the other attackers (Gouiri leading) to shine. A very good entry.
Riyad Mahrez (6): Two very good runs in depth that should have resulted in at least one goal, showed desire, and a well-taken corner that ended in a goal. A good match for captain Mahrez. Replaced by Anis Hadj-Moussa (75'), who had a very timid appearance on the field, with a large number of unnecessary ball losses.
