Market: Blocked at Wolfsburg, Amoura's future looks bleak!

The summer transfer market is progressing, and Mohamed Amine Amoura still hasn't found a new destination. The Algerian international is still tied to Wolfsburg, while his desire to leave the German club is clearly established. A situation that is becoming increasingly concerning as the transfer window approaches its closure.

Relegated to the German second division at the end of last season, Wolfsburg has already started its new campaign with a match against Kaiserslautern. Amoura, however, was unable to participate in this return. The Algerian forward is continuing his recovery after a muscle injury sustained with the national team during the last World Cup, which forced him to prematurely end his competition.

According to information reported by the German press, particularly the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung, the physical problem has been lingering for nearly two months. Back in Germany, the player still hasn't regained all his abilities and is not yet able to resume normal collective training.

This situation is obviously a major obstacle to his departure. Several clubs have been linked to Amoura's name in recent weeks, notably Benfica and Leipzig. Stuttgart and Everton have also reportedly shown interest, but no concrete offers have yet managed to unlock the situation.

The context is even more delicate as Wolfsburg does not seem willing to sell their forward at a bargain price, with a contract running until June 2029 and a value estimated at around 20 million euros. The financial demands of the German club, combined with questions about the player's physical condition, seriously complicate negotiations.

Amoura is also going through a less prolific period on the sporting front. Since the beginning of 2026, he has scored only one goal with his club and the national team.

With just a few weeks left until the transfer window closes, the Algerian may have to wait until the final hours to know his future. However, his goal remains unchanged: to leave Wolfsburg and find a more ambitious environment to relaunch his career.
